Mr. Adam Felsen
Social Studies Educator
Mr. Adam brings history and social studies to life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and plenty of energy. A lifelong history enthusiast, he graduated cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in History and holds a California Single Subject Social Science Teaching Credential.
His teaching experience includes history, writing, economics, and financial literacy, and he loves finding ways to make big ideas feel relevant to students today. Whether students are exploring an important moment in history, diving into a great discussion, or making connections between the past and the world around them, Mr. Adam encourages them to ask questions, think critically, and get involved in what they’re learning.
Outside of the traditional classroom, Mr. Adam is also an EMS Educator with the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care, where he has provided hands-on instruction to more than 800 students and mentors new instructors.
With his upbeat personality and interactive approach to teaching, Mr. Adam is excited to make social studies a class students look forward to and to help them discover just how interesting history can be.
