Ms. Graciella Dueñas
Spanish Language Educator
Ms. Graciella believes learning a language should be about so much more than memorizing vocabulary words. Her goal is to get students talking, connecting, exploring, and having fun with Spanish while building the confidence to use what they’re learning in real conversations.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture and a Master’s degree in Gender and Cultural Studies, Graciella brings a love of language, culture, and different perspectives into the classroom. She enjoys helping students discover the Spanish-speaking world while encouraging them to ask questions, share ideas, and make meaningful connections along the way.
Her teaching style is especially well suited to homeschool learners. Graciella loves discussion-based learning, creative projects, and hands-on activities, and she looks for ways to connect lessons to the things her students are genuinely interested in. Rather than simply working through a textbook, she wants students actively participating in their learning and feeling comfortable expressing themselves.
Whether she’s working with younger learners or helping students grow their Spanish skills, Graciella strives to create a welcoming classroom where curiosity is encouraged, individual interests matter, and learning feels engaging and personal.
