Ms. Lamia Burke

Elementary School Educator, Grades K-2

Ms. Lamia brings more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education, along with a strong background in curriculum development, classroom leadership, and creating engaging learning environments for young students. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from California State University, Northridge.

Ms. Lamia spent more than a decade as a Lead Teacher with Los Angeles Unified School District and has also served as an Assistant Director and Co-Director in early childhood education programs. Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented age-appropriate curriculum, assessed student progress, and tailored instruction to support the individual needs of her students.

With her warm and nurturing approach, Ms. Lamia is passionate about creating a classroom where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. We are so happy to have her joining the StarBright community and leading our Kindergarten–2nd Grade program.
